THE HOUSE
The owners of this 2 bedroom West London house have ensured it feels like a place like home, no matter where in the world you're travelling from. Feel yourself relax as you enter the property via your own front door. You're bound to want to look around before you unpack, so let's go:
LIVING AREA
Relaxation is sure to be on your agenda during your visit to London. And this most luxurious of rooms in the house, with its real wood flooring, smart television and a large sofa, is where you can put your feet up and feel at home.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
You're sure to be impressed by the brand new kitchen with its shiny white cabinets and countertops, and quality appliances including an oven and stovetop. There's plenty of room in the fridge freezer to store your favourite drink and food. And when the time comes to enjoy it, choose from sitting at the kitchen's island or, for something more formal, the four seats around the adjacent circular dining table. Coffee making facilities are provided.
THE 2 BEDROOMS
A superking bed awaits in the main bedroom with ensuite shower room, real wood flooring and space aplenty for you to store the clothing you'll need during your stay. Expect a comfortable night's sleep every night, thanks to the quality of the bedding and mattress, and the quiet location offered up by the mews location. The second bedroom features a sofa that converts into a double bed. So you can use this space as a second living area, and/or as a bedroom for guests 3 and 4. It's up to you!
THE 2 BATHROOMS
The ensuite to the bedroom features a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Freshen-up in style day or night and enjoy room to store your toiletries and the towels that will be provided by your hosts. The other bathroom features a bath tub and handheld shower, which will afford you the opportunity to lie back and relax in a tub of bubbles and review the day and perhaps make plans for tomorrow.
OUTSIDE SPACE
There's a table and two chairs outside the front of the house where you can sit with a coffee and a book or your social media and look out over the cobbled street.
REMOTE WORKING
Fast wifi serves the entire house and there's the dining table or the kitchen island at which you can sit and work if you need to.
THE LOCAL AREA
The quiet mews location of the house might lead you to forget that you're so close to central London while you're inside. But go outside and within just a few steps you'll realise just how close you are to so many of the attractions that make this part of London so popular with visitors and residents alike:
PORTOBELLO MARKET
Just a short walk from the house, this famous market is a must-visit. Browse the antiques stalls, buy delicious fruit and veg to take back to the house, and explore a world of fashion items and second hand goods.
QUEENSWAY
A short walk in the opposite direction is this strip of shops and eateries with the Whiteley's Shopping Centre at one end and a tenpin bowling venue at the other.
HYDE PARK AND KENSINGTON GARDENS
If you're attending Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park or one of the many concerts hosted here throughout the year, staying in this mews house will make it easy to get to and from the park.
GETTING AROUND
With so much of London within easy walking distance, you can pound the pavements of London to get where you want to go. Alternatively, why not use the many bus services that operate in the area? Or hail a taxi from the street, or arrange for an Uber to come and pick you up?
If you've further to travel, there are plenty of London Underground stations to choose from. Bayswater, Queensway, and Notting Hill Gate are all close by and will take you to stops all over London, including Oxford Circus and the City of London.
You also have the major transport hub of Paddington Station close by. This has overground services that will take you as far afield as Devon and Cornwall - handy if that's where you're heading after your visit to London. It's also where the Heathrow Express terminates, so if you're flying in to the UK's biggest airport, it won't be long after you land that you're in the mews house unpacking!
