HOUSE HIGHLIGHTS
There's a lot to like about this elegant second floor two bedroom apartment. But stealing the show has to be the uninterrupted views of the River Thames you'll enjoy from the living area and the apartment's balcony. So, let's head up from street level using the lift and get in and explore this delightful home-from-home with river views.
The large OPEN PLAN LIVING/DINING/KITCHEN area is sure to become the hub of the apartment during your stay. It's a space that's designed for rest, relaxation and interaction. Try the sofas and armchairs for size, and enjoy spectacular views of the Thames and the apartment's television.
Adjacent to this living area is the dining area, with its large table and chairs and another great view of the Thames through the window. A great spot for snacks and meals anytime of day, and also for a special occasion meal to celebrate a landmark life event together.
The dining area is just a few steps from the apartment's KITCHEN which, as you'd expect from such as modern home as this, is packed with quality appliances, cookware and cutlery. Everything you need to create and enjoy tasty meals and then clean up with ease afterwards.
THE BALCONY
This space is definitely worth a paragraph of its own, as the views of the Thames from here are spectacular. It makes this a great place to sit and relax, perhaps with a coffee for breakfast, a light salad for lunch or drinks in the evenings. Nothing can spoil your vista of the rippling river from up here.
THE 2 BEDROOMS
These are on the other side of the apartment, one with a Kingsize bed, the other two single beds. The room with the kingsize is large enough to have space for an armchair and an ensuite shower room with wash basin and WC. The twin bedroom is just next door and all beds in the house are remarkably comfortable, so you should have no problems getting to sleep.
THE MAIN BATHROOM
Just across the hall from the bedrooms is the second of the apartment's bathrooms. There's another shower in here along with a WC and wash basin.
THE LOCAL AREA
The uninterrupted views of the River Thames you'll enjoy from the apartment show you just how close you are to the river and plenty of other South West London attractions, such as:
Battersea Park - walk along the Chelsea Embankment and cross the Albert Bridge and you're at a large, open green space with shady and sunny spots for sitting, walking or jogging along the south bank of the river. Events are also held in the park, so if you have tickets, you won't have far to travel.
The King's Road - just a short walk north of the apartment is this most famous of roads, full of boutique stores and classy eateries you're sure to want to explore.
The Saatchi Gallery and the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea (home of the annual Chelsea Flower Show) are both easy to access from here.
If you want to stay near a friend or relative having treatment at the Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden, or Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, staying here puts all three within easy reach.
GETTING AROUND
Buses and taxis serve the local area, giving you options when it comes to exploring London if you don't fancy doing so on foot. You can also use your own bike or one of the cycles that's available via the London Bike Hire Scheme.
The nearest London Underground station is Sloane Square, which is about a 15 minute walk away. It's served by District and Circle line trains which can take you to places such as Southfields (for Wimbledon tennis) Victoria (for trains to Gatwick Airport and Brighton), Paddington (for the Heathrow Express), Notting Hill (for Portobello Market) and King's Cross (for Eurostar services to mainland Europe).
